Dear Classmates

We moved up to Vancouver, Canada fo two and a half years.  And, just recently moved back to the U.S., still in the greater Seattle area, as Jon is back at Boeing.  He is three credits (comprehensive exam) away from completing his M.A. in Christian Studies from Regent College (which is on the University of British Columbia campus).

During our time in Canada, we were blessed with two more babies.  So now, we have Jonathan 5 1/2, Christine 4, Michael 2 1/2 and Timothy 1.  They keep my life busy and full.  I truly feel blessed.  Now, when they are all riding on Daddy's back, they really look like Mt. Rushmore, as Jonathan says!

From where we are living, on a clear day we can see Mount Baker (one of the higher mountains around here, which is always covered with snow at the top).  On a clear sunny day, Mount Baker appears so powerful, majestic and beautiful.  On cloudy or rainy days (which are not uncommon for here), even though I can't see Mount Baker, I'm sure it is just as strong and present.  It often remainds me of how God has been to me the past few years.  My cancer experience shocked me and shook me up a lot, but God has been a Rock to me, as I clung to Him (and still do).

Last week, Jon and I attended his 20th high school class reunion.  It definitely got me excited for ours.  Dan Robinson, Tim McGill and Others are planning an All Morrison Reunion in Taiwan for June 21-23 next year.  Would you mind sending me a quick email if you are thinking of attending?  It should be very memorable and lots of fun!

Love,  Debbie

Greetings to everyone from Malaysia!

We've returned here after staying a couple of years in Taipei and a couple of years in Singapore.  We, for those of you who have not heard from me in years, means my wife wife Riitta and our three boys, aged 3, 7 and 9.  Our two older boys are attending school at the International School of Kuala Lumpur.

I'm still working for the same employer, but I'm in charge of the Malaysian operations currently.  Riitta is working on her Ph.D.  when she's not busy with the kids, we prefer Malaysia to the other Asian countries, so we're hoping we can stay here a few more years.

Enclosed is a family photo from last Christmas.

Regards,  Matti Mikkola
