Hello Everyone!

Jesse and I moved to the small town of Lakeport, California in January.  I am teaching 4th and 5th grade P.E., while Jesse is a professional photographer doing weddings, portraits, still life, wildlife, etc.

We have been very involved in our church: I am the Children's minister (kindergarten - 5th grades) Jesse installed a new sound system in the sanctuary.  Lakeport is right on "Clear Lake", which is renown for water sports, Bass Tournaments, etc.  If anyone is coming through Northern California, come on by and visit us.  We'd love to see you!

This summer we drove to my brother Bill's house in Colorado.  It was great to see his family!  On the way back to California we stopped at 3 National Parks (Canyonlands, Arches & Great Basin).  They were all Spectacular!

This Christmas we will go to Tennessee and spend the holidiay with my whole family.  My parents are doing well.  Mom loves getting together with lady friends to shop and eat out.  Dad does as much fishing as possible and always has a wood project that he is working on in his big garage/shop.  Mom and Dad are both involved at their church.

We hope to go to Taiwan next year for Morrison's 50th.  Our plan is to do a layover in Japan where we did church planting 1996 - 2000 to see friends/English students.

Keep in Touch!  Beth

Greetings from Fragrant Harbour

Glad that we are back in touch again!

I quit my job as Art Director for feature films a few years ago when the industry crumbled.  I then spent a few years in pseudo retirement - wrote a film script and spent some time on developing new hobbies - jewellery making and collecting minerals.

Finally, I started a small company end of last year to develop my own label of products in fashion accessories and an ecommerce website that will be launched early next year.

I feel like a student in Business Management except that I have to play the game with real moronic grown ups everyday. Ever since I started this business, I have become a serious racist - I am passionately against a certain race of manufacturers just about every week.  My racism has gone pretty global by now!

I think BBC is right, the common ancestor for 99% of the human race has got to be "sponges" and "flat worms".  (Did you know that sponge is an animal and not a plant?)

The 1% like me is descendent of Teletubbies!

Film is my passion, and this E-biz is hopefully the ticket to retirement!

Dad passed away in early 1990.  I have become very distant with Mom and Jason since we have not lived in the same country since 1982.  They are both living in Taiwan.

Recenty, I have taken up Qigong lessons in hopes that it would help to cure my dry eyes.  It's quite amazing, and it does make me feel healthier and sleep less.  My Qigong master said I will only need 4 hours of sleep everyday in the future!  I strongly recommend it!

Looking forward to seeing ya'll at Morrison Campus again!

Cheers,  Kwokie
