OK, if all s Route Designers out their would make small 15 to 20 tile Routes (See Geometry Extractor Tips) This is still big enough to get a good size Yard or 2 and a few Towns between them. Think of it as a small Model Railroad Layout! You can get alot of track in that erea.
I made a 20 tile route called North 3 ( its fictonal ) And below is a screen shot of all the files and folders that would need to be zipped up to share it. You should already be using the comboref file to use all the Shapes and Textures from all the Routes. The End user would also need to copy the Shapes and Texture from all the Original Routes to your Route to use with your comboref file. The same goes for the Terrtex folder and Sound folder. as I just copyed them from Marais Pass. So all we need to do is explain in the Readme is how to copy all the files to your route. Then Your route should show in MSTS.
If you look at the pictures below, you’ll see that right now my 20 tile route is only 10+mb in size, this does increase as you add more track, buildings, scenery, etc... to the route, but not by much. I don’t see my route getting over 20mb in size by the time its done.
If I’m missing something here, Please let me know. but from my testing this should work. I know its alittle confusing. But it’s probly me explaining it, LOL.
