Dominar Rygel XVI was a former dominar (emperor) of Hyneria. Rygel was ousted by his cousin in a coup backed by the PeaceKeepers. He was taken by the PeaceKeepers and imprisoned for over a hundred cycles (years.) His primary goal is to return to Hyneria and once again reign supreme as Dominar, though he has yet to come up with a plan for the overthrow of the current government and their PeaceKeeper backing. Rygel is at worst self-centered and greedy, at best he is... self centered and greedy. His gluttonous ways and irritating manner often serve mostly as humorous side notes to many of the Crews adventures. While often times his desire for power and ambition get the crew into dangerous situations, his skills at diplomacy and sneaky ways just as often get them out. Though he at one time completely betrayed the crew, he seems slowly to be coming to an understanding of the benefits of friendship and loyalty, despite the fact that he always seems to suggest an easy way out of a predicament. When forced into making a decision for him self, however, he will usually do the right thing. " I'm Rygel XVI, Dominar to over six hundred billion people. I don't need to talk to you."
