Durka former commander of the PeaceKeeper
Command Carrier Zelbinian, one of the most feared vessels in PK history, and one
of the most notorious captains. Durka's carrier was the first ship Rygel was
imprisoned and tortured on, and Durka took special pleasure at the Hynerian's
expense. Over a hundred cycles ago, Durka's ship was attacked and destroyed by
the Nebari, the race which Chiana belongs. Durka fled his ship and was captured
by the Nebari, who held him in suspended animation while 'mind cleansing' him.
Once Durka emerged, he seemed a docile servant of the Nebari until an
assassination attempt by Rygel re-awoke the old Durka. After failing to take over
Moya, Durka drifted in space until he ran into the Zenetan Pirates. Using his
cunning, Durka quickly rose to the head ranks of the Pirates.When Rygel later approached the Zenitans to try to enlist their aid, he was quite shocked to find Durka running things. When it appeared as if Durka wouldn't cooperate and was planning on having Rygel for lunch, Rygel overcame his fears and sliced off Durka's head, bringing an end to the Dreaded Captain once and for all. "My name is Durka! I live on the second floor!" |
