Farscape- The Bad Guys... Zenitan Pirates |

 Zenitans Pirates are powerful because of one reason and one reason alone: The Flax. The Flax is basically a spiders web in space, trapping unsuspecting ships. Once a ship is caught, escape is rare. The Zenitans then raid the ships, taking whatever they deem valuable and apparently murdering the crews. How many Zenitans there are, or how powerful they are is undetermined. It can be assumed that there are a good number of these Pirates and they can mount a substantial force, since they had the ability to capture and overtake a Luxan assault Piercer, and Luxans are a race of warriors. Most likely they have large numbers, but because of the very nature of being Pirates, they are probably a difficult bunch to control, unless the prize of their cooperation is truly immense. Leadership is based on ruthlessness and cunning, and is not by any means an assurance of loyalty. Zenitans follow whoever they think it will be profitable to follow, and if weakness is shown, that leadership will quickly be dispatched and replaced. The majority of Zenitan Pirates are of a specific race that look similar to Sebacian and human males, however gender is nearly indistinguishable for the most part and sexual organs are wired a bit differently. To one unfamiliar with them, looking at an unclothed Zenitan would be like looking at someone without any sexual organs. It is not uncommon, however, to see other species among the Zenitans.
