'71 Gremlin with "Fun in the Sun" canvas sunroof... This in an auction car I bought in West Virginia ( thanks, Tim Linton, for telling me about it! ) It needs alot of work, the body has many dents, but serious rust is mostly non-existent. Still has the Gremlin fender emblems, too!
'72 Gremlin in running condition with factory canvas sunroof... I bid on this car on Ebay and lost, but a few months later, the buyer sold it to me, he couldn't safely drive it back to Rhode Island from Virginia, and it was only 80 miles from me. It has a sticking left front brake caliper. Has some rust issues, but it's not terminal yet.
My '74 Gremlin that drove to Kenosha... This is my currently only running, tagged, and driveable Gremlin. Hope to change that this year to 3. It has a 232 automatic with almost 130k on it, due for a hi-po head rebuild this spring. Interior is nice. I want to paint this car a 2001 Honda Accura gold, it is an AWESOME color!
'74 Gremlin saved from country salvage yard... This is a Gremlin that I found the same weekend I met my online Internet sweetheart in person for the first time in 1997 around Christmas at my Aunt's farm, she actually went junkyarding with me in the rain to see it! No wonder I married her...LOL! I paid $100 for it, and it ran and moved! ( The car, the car!!!)
'76 Gremlin parts car/project... This is a car I bought from Brian in Baltimore, MD just for parts, but thought it too good to cut up. It's still together ( so far ), but it may come under the sawzall if no one wants it for $300.
My second '78 Gremlin GT from Ohio... I drove all the way to Ohio to tow this rusty GT back home on a trailer ( I HAD to be nuts! ) Paid more for it than my good GT, plus had to pay lots of gas money, an updated tow rig, etc. The motor is locked, the car is rusting even worse now, might can be saved, but if Mike in Colorado doesn't come get it, it may be cut up. It has the blue Levi's interior package, but no sticker on the fender, as the GT was the primary option.
