'Big' Don Heavens' Super-Charged Toyota Trueno

This 1988 Toyota Trueno Super-Charged is owned by 'Big' Don Heaven of Mi-Jam Motors.
The engine was prepared by Stephen Gunter and features several modifications.
Power is provided by a 1587cc Twin Cam 16 Valve 4A-GZE engine, It is the factory equipped MAP sensor version, producing 165hp, manufactured in 1990.
On the intake, it uses a HKS Power Flow Air Filter, while the exhaust features a custom built 'header'.
A HKS crankshaft pulley has been used to increase the boost, which is now 12psi.
A pair of 272º, 7.5mm lift camshafts keep the engine breathing, all the way to redline.
Since the engine was built, the car has been very successful, winning it's class at Dover Raceway in Easter and June as well as a Class win on Day 1 of the JMC Tecmarine Tarmac Rally in July. (1998)
