In 1999 Turner announced that in addition to Mellings
primary sponsor, Cartoon Network. That there would be two
more sponsors that would paint the car in selected races.
Those two sponsors were WCW and TBS Superstation. Thats
where this car came in. This was TBS's first design in which
they chose to promote The Atlanta Braves on. TBS was only
allowed to have two different designs, and this was their
first. The car was revealed at Atlanta Motor Speedway, home
town of the Braves and was a pretty neat car. The car was a
clean white in front, a shiney blue in the middle, and a
dark red in back. The hood featured faded pictures of
baseball bats behind the Atlanta Braves on TBS logo, with the
Melling logo. Both sides were the same so im only going to
describe one side. The side had a baseball where the front
sponsor pannel was, and near and above the rear tire was the
same logo that was on the hood. The 9 on the car was pretty
cool too, it was yellow with a blue out line and the style
of it was really cool. You can see pictures of this awsome

So far this car has only raced one race in which it finished
27th place. But the Atlanta Braves #9 will race in more
races before the 1999 season is over, so then I will have
more here about the Atlanta Braves Ford!
