OWNED by the Tramway Historical Society, 269 Briddle Path Road, Christchurch (Phone 384-1708). The trolleybuses are operated by the Trolleybus Division of the THS at Ferrymead Historical Park,  Christchurch. The trolleybus system is just over 1km in length. They depart from "The Valley" (Depot) and travel for most of its journey along Truscotts Road to their terminus at "Wood Hill". Operates at present at all public holidays (10.15am to 4.30pm), on a "as required basis". Fares are Adults $1, Children 50c.

Future plans include a 300 metre extension from The Valley to Moorhouse Square; 600 metre extension from Wood Hill to the Rural History Society; and increased operational hours to include every Sunday.

The Tramway Historical Society also operate the Ferrymead Tramway, which operates every Saturday and Sunday (10am to 4.30pm).
