I HATE JEFF GORDON

I obviously am not fond of the man known as Jeff Gordon. I started
to dislike him when I saw him hit cars in a manor that looked a little more than accidental.
I despised him when he won the Winston Cup in 1995. He's costed other drivers
victories with his wreckless driving, and then, thought nothing of it and
claimed the Championship.

I began hating Jeff in the '96 season. At the night race in Richmond,
Jeff Burton as leading, and Gordon was having trouble getting around him.
When it came time to take pitstops, Ken Shrader, Wonderboy's teammate at the
time, went into the pits ahead of Burton. He proceeded to slam on his brakes
in front of Burton, damaging his radiator, and then blocked him since his pit
was directly in front of Burton. Gordon went on to take the lead.

That evening, I lost all respect for Team Hendrick*. I'd seen his
henchmen go to work on a driver who was gunning for his first win, and for
what? So that their already acclaimed driver could get another reward.
Since then, I've seen Gordon crash cars left and right. I think
that it's just a matter of time before he injures or kills some other driver.
I could picture him at a news conference trying to blame the crash on the
guy he injures. And why will he drive this way? Just for the points, to
build up his already oversized ego even more.

*(I have nothing against Ricky or Terry, but I hope they can get out of the
team soon)
