ABOUT THE LAKELAND HISTORIC CAR CLUB.
The lakeland Historic car club was formed by a group of classic car enthusiasts in 1982. Members have come and gone, with some actually staying the duration.
Membership has remained at around the 150-200 mark for the past 5 years.
The club caters for all Vintage &Classic cars from the1890s to the 1990s. Though most of the members cars hail from the period 1930-1950 with a
smattering of 60s cars thrown in and just the odd Jaguar, MG, Triumph and Ford Mustang representing the 70s.

The raisonne d`etre of the club is to promote the use of classic cars in order to give pleasure to owners and other enthusiasts.
The club takes part in many static rallies and road runs throughout the beautiful English Lakeland fells and Yorkshire Dales and helps raise funds for local charities.
