I just can't get enough of those Mopar wagons. This is my second 63 Polora wagon. My first one I got from the original owner for $500.00. Ihad her for 5years. During this time period I came across the next 63 Polora wagon. I found it in a barn about 10 mi
es from my home. It had belonged to a local post master woman who used it to pick up the mail from the main post office. This car is complete. It doesn't run, but would make a great project car. I have a deal going for a 69 Polora wagon from the "little ol
lady", who brought it new.To say I'm alittle giddy over this deal is an understandment.

it has a 455 4 barrel and a th400 tranny, single exuast,ac, power windows and seat, and rust in the gas tank ugh!
have fixed all of the fuel system, but rebuilding the carb hasent worked so I'll have to replace it.

Congratulations for your site!
It's good to know that some people love station wagons / estate cars / "breaks" (our "french" word for them!).
I have been trying to compensate my starving interest by collecting scale models. Even so, it can be frustrating, because many fine examples have been ignored by model manufacturers.
For instance, one of my collection themes is the American station wagon in 1/24 or 1/25 scale : strangely enough, the choice has always been very poor, on the usual market at least. If you know of limited productions, individual conversions, and the like,
I'd be most interested. I know of some limited resin productions, but maybe not all of them.
Thanks to Stationwagon.com, I once was in touch with a Mr Pittman who sounded like an expert about model station wagons, but for reasons unknown he does not answer anymore and did not give me any significant information.
Maybe you will!
T'was nice talking to you.

This is my second 66 Chrysler. Love the car so much I feel guilty driving it every day. The original 383 2bbl is worn out so I'm planning on putting a 440 4bbl in. I know they're basically the same block but does anyone know of any transmission/drivetr
in problems? Also, looking for a good tailgate (torsion bars intact, minimal rust) and all the interior plastic in the backseat area?
Great site, glad to see so many C-bodies still on the road.

I enjoyed your site. I need some inspiration to rebuild my car. It is in good condition but I ruined the engine after I changed the oil and unprimed the oil pump in my slant six. A question;
it is an automatic;would it fly with a 340 or would I have to switch the tranny out to get some
power. You dudes know these things. Everyone of my
uninspired friends tells me to sell it. But I love
the ole blue and white so much! Another question:
what are common(weird)personality traits of classic (Mopar)station wagon owners?

Great wagon site! I KNOW how the loss of that 1969 Suburban feels. I lost my Ivy Green 1970 Suburban many years ago when "the other guy" did something stupid in the rain. I've now got a Lime Green 1970 Fury III convertible that I love just as much.

$4000-$5000 with it. The engine has 208K miles and still runs deadly consistant and still gets 24 mpg.

untry. These cars left a lasting impression on me and once I was of age I started my search. It took me 12 years but I finally scored a '77 Chrysler T&C complete and solid.Yes the woodgrain is faded and is scheduled for replacement.More importantly her prev
ous owners pampered her 440 4barrel drivetrain and body. These cars are so rare that when I finally found mine I could hardly believe it.

I recently purchased my Mopar wagon after a 3 year search for just the right one. A Mopar was my first choice, but I would have taken the right Ford. It is a "plain-jane" wagon with no frills, including three-on-the-tree manual transmission. I'm lookin
forward to loads of fun with this old beast.
I also may add that your buddy Steve threw me out of his wagons wanted listing because I was not specific enough with my wants and because I could never find a wagon with a manual transmission. Well Steve, guess what!
Thanks for letting me share my excitement.

Cool Web Page
Nice Wagon. On the farm I had one that was
covered and pulled by horses. But we were
backward then.
Have a great day.

Growing up I remember a '62 Chevy Impala Wagon and later a green (natch) '69 Ford Galaxie Wagon that I used to curl up in the back of and sleep in during long family road trips. Now, I'm looking for a nice, clean 1960's Mopar wagon as an alternative to b
ying a newer 4 door box. I've got two Siberian Huskies and the wife and I will be having a kid someday in the future, a wagon seems like the perfect solution. The other cool thing about wagons is that they usually came with big motors and heavy duty susp
nsion.

Great web site. All my friends think I'm weird for loving station wagons (they say I'm too young to be driving a wagon). But, I grew up in station wagons and have always loved them. Keep up the great work. Death to the mini-van!!!

Nice Plymouth.....my Dad owned the same model back in the '60's. Would love it if you would expand to cover more than just your own car though....there are SO MANY station wagons from the past that would make a great web site. No one has really done them

I had a '67 Chevy flat-nose van. I loved this thing and was looking for another one, but now am thinking a wagon might serve my needs better. The 60's vans are great and unique, but don't have A/C, PS, or other creature comforts.

After many full size vans, and a mini, I discovered the Wagon. Better late than never.
Looked at the mid chev celeb's, and tauras, then drove a 1980 Dodge diplomat, straight 6, loaded.
Most comfortable car I have ever driven. Could it be a lemon? Only 69,000 miles, I think she will clean up real nice. Looking for good info on this gem, any ideas?
