The last s raw was when I took off the problematic high pressure Facet fuel pumps and rigged up a demand fed car pump with a regulator. This ran a lot stronger but the damn thing sheared off the gearbox sprocket when I whacked the throtle open at around 100mph with ositive boost showing. Last year I ran a more civilised GSXR1100M with garrett blow through system built up a few years ago by MC Xpress, this made 251bhp and 155 lbft at the rear wheel according to our local Dynojet dyno. Raising the gearing so it did 160mph in 3rd and 200 in 4th at 11,000 rpm tamed the low speed wheelies a bit and made 100+mph wheelies much more controllable - and I'm crap at wheelies. I managed to get it to over 11,000rpm in 5th gear but I'm not saying w ere.... The handling was interesting and I never was happy with feeding the power in whilst still leant over. Eventually I sold it and bought the 'bus. I think this chassis and aerodynamics could handle up to 250bhp for a nice usable streetbike - is anyon running one on the street yet?? |

I parked my KZ1000 just outside of a small country market and was having a Coke in the sun when a guy and a gal pulled up n a really ratty Harley. I didn't think much of it until the guy came out and accused me of wasting tax dollars on gas during my 'off' time. I asked him who he thought HE was and who he thought I was. His gal friend, who seemed to know the answers, pul ed him away and they drove off. |

I also trim d the fnt and rear fenders with crome striping and the gas tank and windsheld. I also installed 1 Mr Skull Head my good luck charm on the tail light housing. Thats about it for now. :) |

I agree 100% with you on your choice of bike. Mine cost $1795.00 at a used bike shop called `Bent Bike' in Lynnwood, Washington. It's skinned up a little but only has 45K miles on it. It's green (courtesy of the Island County Sheriff's Office) so I don't get the reaction you do on the road but still get plenty of looks. I already am trying to modify it, which is why I'm here.
