We are sad to announce that Virtual Yet in person Artcar show No longer Exists in its old form. A good thing has been lost because artcar artists simply can not work and play well together. Individual grudges and conflicts combined to undermine the common good. What was a very good alternative to the domination of artcar artists by third party organization events has been cast aside by the artcar community as on group in one city was set upon dominating the event and concept changing the date of the holiday itself. You don't change dates of holidays. When I created Virtual Yet in Person artcar show in the year 1999, I had hoped that it would be a wonderful opportunity for cartists everywhere to become independent. Trouble is that it seems artcar artists are sheep who can not do for themselves. Therefore they will remain slaves to others. Importantly the work of volunteers to make this holiday work was shunned by even my local artcar artists who simply will not work and play well with others. Accept no substitutes held on other days. The event as it was coordinated by these pages is now Officially Dead-Others may still celebrate some kind of event maybe an event -I wish them the best of luck, but it no longer uses these pages.-Conrad Jay Bladey, Creator of Virtual Yet in Person Artcar show
