Dave Blaney is from Cortland Ohio. "The Buckeye Bullet" is a rookie this year in NASCAR's Busch Grand National Series. He drives Bill Davis' #93 Amoco Ultimate Pontiac. Dave also co-owns the Amoco Ultimate J&J Sprinter that is now driven by his brother Dale. He was the runner-up in the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series point standings for the forth time in the last five years last season. He was leader three different times. Dave won his first Historical Big One and Amoco Knoxville Nationals championships on successive weekends in 1997. "The Buckeye Bullet" recorded 64 top 10 finishes, including 43 top five, while qualifying for every main event for the 5th straight year in 1997. He won 10 Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series "A" Features in 1997, taking his career total to 70. Dave also won 25 Heat Races, 10 Vivarin Dashes and 2 Preliminary Features while earning 6 Channellock Fast-Time Awards in 1997. He won his first World of Outlaws Championship in 1995.
