In 1992, I purchased a house, with a garage (finally!!), and in 1993 the real customizing began. With the help of my friend Frank, the body mods started, small at first, but then it snowballed!! The picture above is at my parents house, with my brothers S-10, which we lowered and shaved the door handles on while I was back. This was the 4th or 5th trip to Iowa the truck made.

By summer of 1995, the truck had come along way, and I decided to show it at the Autorama Show, at Dreher Park, in West Palm Beach, FL.

A couple months later, I decided it was time to do some more mods, like smoothing the back of the cab, and the front of the bed, along with welding up all those ugly holes in the frame. So, the truck was pulled into the garage, and tore apart. It's been taking longer than expected, but the process continues to this day. It's amazing how owning a house, and other things can change priorities. BUT, the spark has been reignited, and I hope to finish the truck soon.

This is the truck today...well, actually its farther along than this. Currently the body is 80-90% in primer, and ready for a second coat of primer, and a guide coat to sand. The frame is ready for primer, and probably paint. I need to take some more pictures and get them scanned. You can see more of its current state in the under construction portion of the website.
