Bending Brake and Fuel Line Tubing

by Joe Curry

When bending new brake or fuel lines, it is very helpful to have a pattern before bending the tubing. A pattern can be made from a piece of coat hanger wire or something similar. Simply bend the wire to the proper shape to fit and then use the wire as a pattern for bending the tubing. This is much easier than committing the tubing to a rough fit. For tight bends use a tubing bender to avoid crimping the line. Large bends can be done by hand.
