1985 Monte Carlo
Super Sport
This is my 1985 Monte Carlo Super Sport. I purchased it about a year and a half ago from a slightly intoxicated man as a rust free restorer/builder car. It had a 305 c.i. High Output engine, 200-4r tranny and a 3.73 limited slip rear end. My current plans for the car include a 350ci. engine, a 4.10 limited slip rear end, although I may want it to be a daily driver, so I may stay with the 3.73 Some body work and fresh black paint will finish off the project. I also plan to install a killer stereo system. (Premier 3 1/2's in the dash, 5 1/4's components with tweeters in kick panels. 6X9 3-way's in the back window and 4 12 in. premier bullit subs in the trunk.(Hypothetical system if money allows))
If you have any suggestions feel free to sign the guestbook.
UPDATE: The 350 is complete and running. High performance mods include an Aluminum Weiand Action-Plus intake, an 800cfm quadra-jet carb, 1.94 intake 1.50 exhaust heads with 3 angle valve job stainless steel valves, full size race headers flowing through 2.5 stainless steel pipes and glass packs. A Crane Cams bumpstick and hydralic lifters add to the deep exhaust roar.
For decoration, M/T raised valve covers and an Edelbrock Triangle Air Cleaner.
