Mint Dill   ~ Salset Ne3na3 ~   Bayleaves Rosemary

(Mint Sauce)

This sauce is extremely easy. It is mainly used with lamb as it softens its taste. It is preferable to prepare this sauce 3 hours in advance to allow vinegar absorbs mint aroma.

~ Ingredients ~
1 tbs fresh finely chopped mint (or 1 ½ tsp dried mint but taste will differ significantly)
1 tsp sugar
½ cup white grape vinegar
¼ cup boiling water

Melt sugar in boiling water. Add to vinegar and add mint. Stir very well and leave to cool. Serve at room temperature in a sauce bowl with roasted or grilled lamb.
Yields ¾ cup.
