Mint Dill   ~ Ta'leya 2 ~   Bayleaves Rosemary

(Cooked Vinegar & Garlic Sauce)

This sauce is for use with Fattah (Rice & Bread Dish). It will be featured under Rice & Pasta.

~ Ingredients ~
1 garlic head
2 tbsp shortening (preferably Ghee)
1 cup broth
salt & pepper to taste

In a mortar, crush peeled garlic very well. In a saucepan, heat shortening than add crushed garlic. Stir until golden. Remove from heat and add vinegar little by little while mixing well. Return to heat and bring to boil. Remove from heat and add to broth. Mix well. Season to taste. Serve in a sauce bowl or as directed in recipes.
Yields 1 cup.
