This is excellent for veggies. It can be used with tomato sauce as the basis for vegetables stews.
~ Ingredients ~
Wash vegetables and dice. Put in pan and cover with water. Put over medium heat until vegetables are done.
Season and remove from heat. Drain vegetables and use liquid as directed in recipes.
PS: Vegetables can be sautéed and served with any meat dish or you can just serve them plain with boiled
rice as a fat-free meal.
2 sprigs celery
1/2 small cabbage
250 g peas
250 g green peas
2 turnips
2 small carrots
2 garlic cloves (optional)
salt & pepper to taste
