Viking HD is the strongest suit made by
Trelleborg, (1500g/m2) it's used by professional
divers, who need to dive in sewers, nuclear
reactors, etc, and where durability and safety is
a main factor.
The diver shown on
the right, has been in a oil tank, for doing some
maintenance work. As you can see, the job was
very dirty, therefor he use strong rubber gloves
and a AGA Full Face Mask, for complete sealing from the
water/oil mixture and the suit is fitted with the
Turbo Hood,
which is as hood, special constructed for diving
in hazardous substance. In addition to the normal
SCUBA Tanks, he also is able to get air from an
Airline System.

More about
contaminated water diving
The AGA-Mask is often
used when diving in contaminated water, it's
provides an extra safety- feature, the regulator
provides an over-pressure in the mask, therefor a
little leak in the sealing between the mask and
the divers face, isn't critical. If a diver have
to dive in very contaminated water, the diver
often use a helmet with Air-supply from
the surface. The suit will always be a Rubber
suit, this suit has an easy surface to clean and
decontaminated. Neoprene suit is not recommended
for diving in contaminated water, the suit is
almost impossible to decontaminated 100%, because
of the material-structure.
