These kids were playing marbles in the ruins of an ancient city that used to be lived in over three thousand years ago. The kids don't seem to notice the remains of walls and buildings. They were just interested in the marbles.


Just like in Nepal, I found that kids were always quick to smile at me where ever I went. These kids are Uighars, a minority group of people, who live in the north west of China. Some places I went, the little kids would stare at me with wide eyes, they weren't used to seeing white skin and blond hair.
