It says "Nepal is good."

The Nepali alphabet has 36 letters and each letter can be written eleven slightly different ways to show a slightly different pronunciation of the letter. It's like the letter a in "at" would be written differently than the letter a in "call". In English we say them differently, but write them the same. Not so in Nepali.

Only about half of the country can speak Nepali. Each local region has their own language which all people from the surrounding villages can speak. There are 69 different languages spoken in Nepal, in addition to Nepali. The farther away from the big cities and the road you go, the less people speak Nepali, but they all speak their local language.
