Music and Misc. Mieko's Theme - Hey You by No Doubt : The sound can be many different things. Its up beat, and sounds self absorbed (her attitude to school and stangers) but its still fun, which reminds me of her more playful side. The lyrics don't really remind of the character. The lyrics are pretty judgmental so I think it fits to Mieko in one aspect. Misc Writing Sample Osaka Koukou was nearly empty at 6 o'clock at night. It was much cooler in the school now, and many of the lights had been turned off. Shadows chased each other on the walls of the news paper room as cars raced past on the street just outside. The nearly empty room was clattered with tossed papers and folders. The small room was brighten by the light from one computer screen. The light bounced of the students face who was work hastily. "Okay, one more page and I'll be done with this spread" A sultry voice echoed in the room. Mieko brushed a blonde strand hair from her face as she leaned back in her chair, allowing her back and hands a chance to breath. Not giving her mind a chance wander, Mieko brought her attention back to the computer screen, completing her final spread for the newspaper. She always liked to finish her spread at least two weeks before their deadline, giving the editors a sufficient amount of time to do their job right for once. Just as Mieko reached the end of her spread a familiar voice rang through the halls just outside the room. Mieko grinned sheepishly, quickly saving and shutting off her computer. "Yoshiko! What's up?!" Mieko said, finishing her slang with a giggle of delight. Mieko grabbed her dark blue sports coat and school bag just as the classroom door shot open. With one foot still dangling in the air Yoshiko waved happily at her best friend. Yoshiko put her foot down and ran two hands though her black hair. The Asian teen grinned mockingly at Mieko. "What are you smiling at?" Mieko challenged, knocking her way past Yoshiko. Yoshiko laughed obnoxiously and punched Mieko, starting a fit of slaps and shoves as the pair made their way down the dim, empty halls. |
