I'm finally *all* settled in my new place, and I got my car fixed too. For those of you who are out of the loop, my car needed a new power steering pump. Lucky for me, it's still got a warranty. And speaking of warranties, when I took my car to the dealership to get it fixed, I was asking the servicewriter if I a rental car is included with my warranty. First, he told me I didn't have a warranty, which I knew wasn't true. When he finally figured out that I *do* have one, and I asked him again, about a rental car, he said to me "Do you even know what a warranty *is*?" to which I replied "Excuse me? Do I know what a warranty is? Is that what you just asked me?" and he backpedaled and said "No, I meant do you know which warranty you have" but that sure as fuck isn't what he said. The entire experience pissed me off, especially since I brought my car in there Monday morning and didn't get it back until Tuesday afternoon. Of course, they may have been slightly more speedy if they'd even looked at my car before Tuesday. But at least it's all fix0red now =) I am back to posting to usenet from usenetserver, apparently Teranews has discovered that I am a crossposting troll and disabled my account. Wah Wah. In my opinion, V-Day is just a sensationalized excuse for Hallmark to unload millions of greeting cards, therefore I don't "celebrate" it. But it was still nice to get a few V-Day greetings from my friends =) Great news today! First and foremost, I found an apartment! It's so great, a one-bedroom, roomy, and cute as all hell. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it. I'll know tomorrow if i definitely got it. Second, I just got a promotion too! Two great things on the same day, it's been a while since that happened.... Wal-Mart is still giving my mom shit about paying to fix her car. Bastards. I've finally been let in on the seekrit of stealing icq numbers =) I've gotten two of them so far, I gave one away and i'm still hoarding the other one, so if anyone wants a new (low) icq number, let me know via email. my addy is available on the ~contact~ page. Well, Happy Valentine's Day to all. In my opinion, V-Day is just a sensationalized excuse for Hallmark to unload millions of greeting cards, therefore I don't "celebrate" it. But it was still nice to get a few V-Day greetings from my friends =)
Great news today! First and foremost, I found an apartment! It's so great, a one-bedroom, roomy, and cute as all hell. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it. I'll know tomorrow if i definitely got it. Second, I just got a promotion too! Two great things on the same day, it's been a while since that happened....
Wal-Mart is still giving my mom shit about paying to fix her car. Bastards.

I'm finally *all* settled in my new place, and I got my car fixed too. For those of you who are out of the loop, my car needed a new power steering pump. Lucky for me, it's still got a warranty. And speaking of warranties, when I took my car to the dealership to get it fixed, I was asking the servicewriter if I a rental car is included with my warranty. First, he told me I didn't have a warranty, which I knew wasn't true. When he finally figured out that I *do* have one, and I asked him again, about a rental car, he said to me "Do you even know what a warranty *is*?" to which I replied "Excuse me? Do I know what a warranty is? Is that what you just asked me?" and he backpedaled and said "No, I meant do you know which warranty you have" but that sure as fuck isn't what he said. The entire experience pissed me off, especially since I brought my car in there Monday morning and didn't get it back until Tuesday afternoon. Of course, they may have been slightly more speedy if they'd even looked at my car before Tuesday. Which sucks ass, cuz all the fun shit to do around here, such as the Salvador Dali museum, Florida Aquarium, Museum of Science and Industry, Mahal indian restaurant (ok, that one's not fun in the same way as the others, but indian food rawks)...anyway, all that stuff is more like 10+ miles away. And I decided my car can't possibly be Christine (Stephen King's name of the evil bitch possessed car) because at least *she* could regenerate herself. Mine is the *ANTI-Christine*
That reminds me (don't ask *what* it was that reminded me) but I gotta add that "Ghost of the year" is my very good friend's new nickname on usenet *waves*, and it's also the name of a Max Q song. Max Q was an INXS sideproject, and they rocked. I miss Michael Hutchence *sniff*
