National Muscle Car Association Nationals
I took these pictures at the show formerly known as The National Muscle
Car Association Nationals. Since Peterson Publications took over, the
series it has changed a lot. The show wasn't nearly as big
as it has been in the past, and there weren't as many specialty race
classes. Even the car show and swap meet weren't as big. However, drag races are
still the best place to see a variety of minibikes and scooters in
action.
Here is a black CT70 in the staging lanes. Trail 70's are very popular pit bikes. There
were several at the show and most of them never quit moving.
I saw lots of adults, sometimes 2 at a time, cramped onto
these TRX and ATC 70's. This one has a deer rack on it. I've never seen a rack for a 70 before.
Check out that kick scooter next to the truck, the owner was trying to sell it to me
as I was taking the picture.

Here's a way to put that little scooter to work, by pushing your tubbed out '55 Chevy to the
scales. This is a pretty common way of moving the cars to staging and such, but those huge
tires make quite a load for the little 2 cycle (note the smoke). The second picture
was taken while riding my Mini Trail.
How about a Yamaha Banshee with extended swingarm and sand paddles for puttering around the pits
