This page is setup for the game I would like to start.
The house rules are fairly simple. Use the available books found in the Tome List
Just about any rules found in these books are applicable. Just one or two minor changes.
1. Paladins can be of any alignment.
This was from an old Dragon Magazine issue and should be available in some NetBooks. If you need more information, email me and I will send you a text version.
2. No Specialist Mages.
I haven't ever played one so I haven't got all the rules down yet. Also I am going to college and don't have as much time to be learning new rules (to me it's new).
3. No..I repeat...NO Kenders allowed!
Even though these aren't in the 2nd. Ed. Handbook, I just wanted to make this clear.

Creating character: Characters should be rolled using the 4d6, reroll 1's, drop lowest and place according to your preference. Anyone with a score of 18 should email me and I will roll for percentage above 18, if any.
Characters can be from any race (except for rule #3 above) and profession in the books available. Roll your own Hitpoints and figure your own Saves, THAC0's and such. Outfit your character with basic equipment (they have, after all, been adventuring for 3 or 4 levels already.) But character shouldn't have more than 200gp apiece.
Character Submissions: All character submissions should be made using this character sheet. Click on the link and you'll be given the character sheet on your screen. Right click and "Save As...". Use your text editor (usually DOS Edit or Windows NotePad) to fill in the blanks and mail it back to me. I should be able to reply to it within 24hrs (barring unforeseen HD crashes!)
Should this link not produce a usable format, I do have a basic online Character Submission Form Character submissions should also come with a background and history. Your history should show where you have come across and proficiencies, special items (including magick items, if any).
Character descriptions should be short, not much more than two paragraphs, and should not just be: Height, Weight, Eye/Hair color, and clothes worn. Give an account of how you would be seen by another person as you are walking into a tavern on some dark and stormy night. Oh, the tavern's name is the "Bloodied Virgin" and is run by a half-orc (if this gives you any help).
Magick Items: Oh, and speaking of magickal items, you can have up to +3 worth of items (i.e. 1 +1 sword and 1 +2 shield or 1 +1 sword, 1 +1 shield, and +1 armor). All the +'s must add up to no more than +3, BUT, no single item may be better than +2! Remember, any magick items must be passed by the DM before allowed into play. Make sure the history tells how you got this item.
Magick-Users: Roll up the way the books tell you. Also roll up your beginning spellbook for 1st level and then tell me what you have. I'll then e-mail you and tell you how many more spells need to be written into it and maybe give you one or two that you have found.
If you have cast the Find Familiar spell, write me a description of the familiar. If you want to cast the spell before adventuring, roll a percentile (d100) and e-mail me the result. I'll post back telling you the stats of your familiar (if any replied to the summons).
Clerics: Make sure you read the section on Deities. You will need to specify which god or goddess you worship and this determines your weapon and armor types.
Turns: Turns by the DM will be posted every Monday and Wednesday night (these will be major turns). Minor turns can be posted at anytime. But don't try to work on a major turn on the two days I post. Whatever moves you send in on Monday or Wednesday will be held until AFTER the major turns occurs.
You can send messages amongst the other players and don't have to include the DM unless what you are writing concerns the turn. Plot amongst yourselves, plan out strategies, it's not necessary to give me every last message.

And of course, lastly, if there are any questions, or if you need help on your character, write me.
