holidays: Where to go
Visiting native Indians in Porto Seguro - Bahia
(BA)- Brazil
Inside of Pascoal Mount Park National is the
pataxó village of Barra Velha, a tourist point
very appreciated by foreigners tourists, who
demonstrate much interest for the life of the
natives and the housings constructed with wood
and soil, but of inversely proportional prestige
between the Brazilians.
Walking for the village provides surprise in
people little accustomed to leave the city. For
example: how many times you saw a pineapple foot
- Is that already it saw one? There they exist to
mounts, spread for the soil, that has a different
sand here, white and black and sufficiently thin.
If you are with slippers, your foot will be
dirty, but it doesn't matter, therefore Caraíva
eliminates the will to use any type of footwear.
Inside of the village a cultural center exists,
where the young learns and cultivates the
traditions and carries through presentations
special for the tourists (R$ 15 for person). The
show includes music and dances, with a space for
the participation of the visitors. Later, a
delicious lunch is offered, whose menu is fish
baked in banana tree leves, one paçoca of
cassava with coconut and water of coconut.
Detail: without no industrialized condiment.
