Some junk deletion batch scripts

This will delete files off of your PC, so a certain amount of caution is advisable. Note the construction of the script which tests for the existance of the subdirectories before jumping to them and which echoes the current subdirectory before a deletion is attempted. The user should watch the echoed subdirectory before approving deletes, especially after recent changes to the script. It's no fun accidentally deleting all the files in your C:\Windows directory, even if your subdirectories are spared. It is a good idea to make a backup of the files in your Windows directory (you don't have to back up all the subdirectories) before using this utility if you have just made changes to this utility or if you are using it for the first time (after that; as long as it's working, it will stay working), ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE ADDING DELETION OF JUNK FILES IN C:\WINDOWS OR ITS SUBFOLDERS. Trust me on this! It's worth the few minutes of copying all the Windows files - how long do you think it would take you if you accidentally deleted them and couldn't just reboot to DOS and copy them all back? Just copy all of the \Windows files (no subdirectories needed) to a directory you create on your PC as an adequate defence against this particular disaster mode. Also, training yourself to stop and think when you see "All files in this directory will be deleted! (y/n)>" would be useful, and is your last line of defence. The prompt is there for you to use; it doesn't force anything on you. If you don't take good advice, it's your problem, pal.

Copy and paste the contents of the following pages into your C:\bat directory

Note: cookies are no longer so easily delete-able in Windows 98 and later, but I've left the code in. If removing it, be sure to patch all the batch jump statements.
