Heinlein

Expanded Universe, by Robert A Heinlein
Written for the US only, although the author has permitted its sale in Canada, part of the book shows what is wrong with the US and how to turn it around. Many other articles of relevance in a jam-packed thick book.

The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress, by Robert A Heinlein
Shows a free (Libertarian) society and how it works.  A definitive revolution novel -- see also his short story "If This Goes On --" in The Past Through Tomorrow.

The Past Through Tomorrow, by Robert A Heinlein
Contains many short works important to Libertarians, such as "Lifeline", "The Man Who Sold the Moon", "The Long Watch", "Methusaleh's Children" and many others. It is difficult to find now, although the Science Fiction Book Club (http://www.sfbc.com) sells it the last time I checked, about a year ago. You can find it more easily in bookstores broken up into the separate collections "The Man Who Sold the Moon", "The Green Hills of Earth", "Revolt in 2100" and "Methusaleh's Children".

Time Enough For Love, by Robert A Heinlein
This is my single all-time favorite book; it shows how to live a happy, free life, and it shows what love is all about. You should read "Methusaleh's Children" (and the rest of the "The Past Through Tomorrow" stories) to get the background for this one.

Every book Heinlein has written -- there are 43. They would cost you maybe one hundred and fifty dollars if you purchased one of each, but have given us literally billions of dollars in benefits, counting the people whom Heinlein has influenced. For a complete list, see "Grumbles From the Grave", edited by Virgina Heinlein
