Max was walking into the school, his backpack slung over his shoulder, hoping he wouldn't be late for history class, when he felt someone grab his arm.

"What's going on?" he asked Liz as she dragged him through the crowded hallways. She didn't answer, just pulled him into the eraser room.

Max knew that they were trying to work it out, but this seemed a little fast, especially after their conversation. His little hopes were dashed however when Liz spoke.

"She's back," she said grimly, her mouth set in a straight line.

"Tess?" Max asked, confused. It was impossible, she had vanished, she was gone, she couldn't.....

Liz shook her head, "No. Topolsky. Our favorite secret agent is the guidance counsellour again."

"Isn't the school suspicious of her disappearance?" Max asked.

"Guess not," Liz said. "The principal told me when they were walking together this morning. He seemed thrilled. Obviously she came up with a good excuse."

"Shit," Max swore under his breath. "I thought we were rid of her for good."

"Obviously not," Liz said with a sigh. "Guess the FBI decided it didn't matter whether or not we knew about her. I don't know how we're going to get rid of her again."

The bell rang to signify the start of school. Max ignored it and kept speaking. "Why don't we tell the principal or something. It wouldn't work well if everyone knew she was an agent."

Liz shook her head, "He wouldn't believe us Max. We'd just come off like to kooky, paranoid kids. We have to go after her ourselves."

Their conversation was interrupted by the door to the eraser room opening. Liz and Max watched in shock as Maria and Michael came in, already kissing wildly. They paused when they noticed someone else was in there.

"We....ugh......we....we were coming in to see what you guys were talking about," Michael said pathetically, frantically wiping the remains of Maria's lipstick from his mouth.

"Uh huh," Maria agreed quickly, nodding her head, "That's why we came in here."

"Topolski's back," Liz said without preamble.

"Excuse me?" Michael said, "Please tell me I didn't hear you right."

Liz shook her head, "She's back as the guidance consellour."

"The FBI gets stupider every day," Maria said under her breath. "I mean, she screwed up before, why send her back."

"Why get more people involved when they feel it's just a matter of time before we trip up. We're suspicious of everyone anyway." Max shrugged, "Who knows how their minds work."

"We've got to get rid of her though," Michael said insistently.

"We know," Max said. "That's what we were discussing when you two came to......see what our problem was."

"What are we going to do?" Liz asked. "She's got to go. All she's interested in is taking everyone down."

They all whirled when they heard the door opening again. They should have remembered to lock it. Liz looked that way, half expecting to see Alex and Isabel, but they weren't to be so lucky. It was Miss Topolsky.

"Well hello there," she said. "My my my. I never would have expected to find you all skipping class in here. I never thought you guys would go for a foursome thing either."

"We were just leaving," Maria snapped, glaring at the guidance counsellour/agent.

"If I were a dedicated school official I would give you all detention or some such nonsense," Topolsky said with a smile.

"Well, you're not are you?" Maria said sarcastically. "You're an FBI agent. Dedicated, I'll grant you that, but not a very good one. Although, it seems that nobody in your department is. Wasting all this manpower on high school students you think are aliens."

"We know all about you," she said in a stiff voice. "It's just a matter of time before we get some evidence. You'll screw up. This is a no-brainer for an assignment."

"Oh, is that why they sent you?" Maria said with a sarcastic smile.

Miss Topolski glared at her. "Do no antagonize me. When I take them in, I may have to take you in for observation too. You know, effects of aliens on humans and all. Those tests would be fun to perform."

"You're sick, you know that," Liz said in a calm voice.

"Just doing my job," Topolski said with a shrug. "You're my assignment, my catch."

"You're probably the one who killed Tess then," Maria said. "I mean, you don't want her to get credit for your 'catch' or anything right?"

"Don't try to pin her disappearance on me," Toposki threatened. "We all know it's a lot of crap. There's another thing I could pin on you. Forget confiscating you for scientific purposes, I could arrest you too."

"For what?" Michael asked, "Any proof Topolski? We had no reason to do anything to your agent. If we felt threatened by some ditzy FBI agent we would have gotten rid of you as well."

Topolski's smile froze on her face. "I suggest you all get back to class before I report you to the principal. Whether I'm an actual guidance counsellour or not, everyone else thinks I am."

Maria was the first out of the small room. She elbowed her way past Toposki, not letting her move, glaring as she went. The rest followed her out of the small room.

"Oh, by the way," Topolski said as they began to walk away. "I've made an appointment with your little friend Alex to discuss his plans for the future. I wonder how he would like sitting in a steel room for the rest of his life?"

As she walked back to her office, the 4 watched her go without moving.

"She's got to go," Michael said in a deadly voice.

Nobody disagreed with him.
