out of the All-Ireland Hurling Championship. Laois were scheduled to play Limerick
on July 1st and were, reportedly, all revved up for the game
Limerick's new opponents are Laos, a country bordering Vietnam and Thailand in
South-East Asia. A Spokesman for the Laos GAA said they were delighted to be
allowed the opportunity to play in the All-Ireland series after years of lobbying.
Limerick must now travel to Vientiane, the capital of Laos, for the game.
Limerick Captain Ollie Moran said: "They're a bit of an unknown quantity, but their full-back
used to play for Antrim, so I'm looking forward to a good tussle there."
