What now for Donna and Joe?

It's safe to say that the Eurovision has never seen anything like Donna and Joe McCaul. With their staggering performance behind them the super siblings took a well earned break away from the media spotlight. A few weeks skiing for Donna, while Joe got back to his favourite pastime of robbing supermarket trollies and racing them around his native Athlone.

But what not for Donna and Joe? Exciting news let us tell you! The Naked Galwegian has gained exclusive insider information that the McCaul siblings have been taken under the wings of two of Ireland's most thrilling, cutting edge and downright talented singers.

Christy Dignam, the heroin-powered lead singer of Aslan has said that in Joe McCaul he sees "A little bit o'meself as a young fellah. The similarities are all there - the abhorrence of footwear on stage, the rugged good looks, the insatiable hunger for the smack."

Joe himself seems equally excited about teaming up with the genius that brought us Crazy World and Crazy World 2000. "I can't wait to record with Christy. And it's not just music - I think we're doing some baking too. Christy said he'd have me cooking up in no time!"

Donna on the other hand has been seen in public recently with the one and only Dana. All Kinds of Everything is probably my favourite Irish Eurovision song ever from the year that it won," Donna gushed. "I'm so excited to be working with Dana. Our names are nearly alike too, isn't that cool?"

When asked what knowledge she felt she had to impart to the young singer Dana replied, "Well there are a few tricks I've picked up in my time. Timers, detonation switches and the like can be tricky to get the hang of. Those abortion clinics don't blow themselves up you know!"

Two of Ireland's best taking on two of Ireland's most inbred! If either pair gets anywhere near a recording studio we're sure the results will be nothing short of astounding. As always, The Naked Galwegian will keep you posted.
