Most of us know him from such Hollywood classics as Money Train and Murder at
1600, but over the last few years, actor Wesley Snipes has been making his name in
another, more spiritually rewarding, field.
As a motivational speaker Mr. Snipes has been touring the world addressing the
problem of suicide among young Caucasian males. Wesley was personally affected
by the problem when he saw a documentary about it on TV one night while a bit
drunk and unemployed. That night he vowed to put his celebrity muscle behind the
cause and has made himself a decent bit of cash at the same time. Handy that.
He will speak for one night (15th August) in the Town Hall Theatre and tickets, priced
at 15 euro each, are on sale from the box office in the Town Hall.
"White Men Don't Jump!" is a moving, powerful evening that should not be missed.
