Wash My Car - After months of hype, RTE's version of Pimp My Ride finally hits our screens. Each week Caroline Morahan, armed only with a soapy cloth and a bucket, hits the mean streets of Ireland's cities and makes sure that someone's car gets well and truly washed. Fo' shizzle my nizzle!! (Contestants may be asked to cover soap, bucket and cloth costs)
Fyfe Swap -The original banana trading gameshow is back! Gameshows like these don't grow on trees! Those Paddies Next Door - Repeat of the little seen, cult 70s British sit-com in which the Johnson family's world is turned upside down when a herd of Irish moves in next door. Bad hygiene, hard drinking and good ol' fashioned wife beating abound as barriers are broken down and stereotypes reinforced weekly. Seventh Heaven - Fans of the only show to effortlessly blend right wing propaganda with Christian family values are in for a huge treat this month when a guest director comes on board and becomes part of the Aaron Spelling family. Quentin Tarantino will bring a lot from his Kill Bill phase to the table in this hard-hitting episode that will focus on abstinence. Quentin is quoted as saying, "It's such an important issue right now, people in loving relationships having sex is disgusting and it has to be stopped immediately by whatever means possible. I'm going to be showing people in this episode how they can deal with fornicators with a few simple sword movements. Clerical Abuse Idol - The newest, most anticipated reality TV show around. Twenty five members of the clergy and twenty five allegations of abuse. Who can make theirs disappear the fastest? Bonus points for murdering victims and burying them in unmarked graves. Oh make Jesus proud guys! Make him proud! Clerical Abuse Idol 2 - Ten office workers are pelted with staplers, rulers, and printers by contestants chosen at random on the street. No prizes really, just good frickin' fun. Being Glen Hansard - After his success on television (Fair City) and on stage (Waiting for Mondo), George McMahon makes his big screen debut with this hilarious and heartwarming erotic family comedy. Working in a Dublin chipper, Mondo is cleaning out behind the fryers late one night when he discovers a mysterious portal that leads straight into the brain of Irish rock god Glen Hansard. Will Mondo ever be able to go back to his old life after experiencing life as the coolest man on the planet? Will he finally understand the complex lyrics of 'Fake'?
