El Presidente re-elected with record vote margin |

El Presidente Mary McAleese has been re-elected with a
majority that has the world of mathematics buzzing.
El Presidente got the most votes in an election where no votes
were cast. Because of this, her percentage share of the vote is
either zero or infinity. Since she has been deemed elected, El
Prez has apparently settled for the latter.
Ms. McAleese welcomed the news, demanding that it give her more powers and new titles. As such, Ms. McAleese will now be referred to by the Informal Title of "The One, The Light, and The Mary". Her Formal Title will be "Lord High Queen of All the Lands of Ireland, The Crown Princess of Eire, Overseer of the Emerald Realm and Governess of Everything." She may also be referred to as the "President formerly known as McAleese". In an interview last night, El Presidente indicated that she would not let the new title or power go to her head. The Naked Galwegian will be able to comment more on this when its journalist has been returned unharmed. |
