Dear Kevin,
I'm a single mother, trying to get back into the working world. The children's allowance is a help but I find myself struggling at times. Crèches are just so expensive and let's just say that my ex is not in the least bit helpful. Any advice? Pamela D. Dear Pamela, I feel your pain, I really do. I myself was a single mother for a period in the sixties. Free love didn't turn out to be as free as I thought it was. All I can say is that you shouldn't be afraid to ask your family or friends for help and support whenever you need it.
