Well I get up late enough most days. These Buckfast hangovers are lethal so you know I'm pretty
groggy for the first half of the day or so. I don't mind though - cause Buckfast is so funny.
Mentioning it on stage especially, say as part of my stand-up routine, is hilarious. I can't think of
anything funnier to talk about on stage. Nope, not a thing. Buckfast is just that funny.
Anyway - back to my day. I wander aimlessly during the afternoon, sticking up posters for the Comedy Club on any random spots that I find. Then I think up more funny things to say about Buckfast. Sometimes I ring my good friend Tierno (that's Tommy Tiernan to you commoners) and ask him for some jokes. He normally tells me to fuck off and I laugh - Tierno is soooo hilarious. So that's about it really. If it's Sunday I go down to Bar Cuba and introduce other comedians. They're always pleased to see me cause they say that my Buckfast jokes and stories always make them look good in comparison, even if they're having a shit night. I'm not quite sure what they mean by that but I'll take it as a compliment. Would you like some Bucky? |
