It's Aine here again letting you know what's been
happening among the social elite of Galway. Well let me
tell you there was quite the busy schedule for the social
climber around the city this week.
On Friday night another glitzy opening at the Arts Centre
on Dominick Street. Several notable faces from the arts
world were there. I don't want to appear like I'm
name-dropping but let's just say that one of them likes to
'boogie'. Get it? An artist? Name rhymes with boogie?
Ah, forget it.
So anyway - the night was going swimmingly until it was
ruined by one of THOSE people coming in. I mean, really.
These darkies think they can swan over here, take our jobs,
take our women (oh god I wish!) and then after all of that -
come waltzing into our exhibition openings.
And the worst thing was he wasn't serving us drinks or
food. He was just walking around actually pretending to
appreciate the art. As if his sort gets the high brow culture
like us sophisticated Irish.
Now I'm not a racist, but......

injured by a low-flying cliche]
