After the new puppies came home, we decided they needed more room. We had an old screened porch that was quite shabby. We hired a contractor to turn it into a real room! It is now a lovely paneled room, small but quite adequate for the puppies to have as their own private room. We decided to decorate it with dachshund antiques and collectibles.
Here are photos of the shelves above the windows that
Gary made for my many doxie figurines.
As you can see, it has
four dachshunds carved in the wood, with little
photos imbedded in it. The photos at the ends are
of Nancy and Frankie, the photo in the center is
of ME holding Pippy!
This shelf has the dachshund coat of arms with
a blue ribbon won at a dog show by one of Frankie's cousins.
This is a closer photo of the right side, these photos
do not really do these hand-made shelves justice!
Another small shelf is seen off to the right.
Here is the last shelf made for this room, it is
made out of a different wood and stained a different color.
The doxie inside the frame is a genuine "FRANKENMUTH" antique.
This is a genuine Frankenmuth sign! A real Treasure!
More genuine Frankenmuth collectibles!
Some of my latest Frankenmuth antiques,
Truly a great find!
I think the Frankenmuth pieces are my favorites!
Here are some of my 'treasures' on the shelves between
the dining room and the living room.
I changed my mind, I think the
dachshund cookie jar is one of my favorites!
So many favorites!
My Doxie Purse!
