Our chorus was founded in 1996, after big efforts. We began learning the "Misa Castellana" (Castilian Mass) and after this we added to our repertory all kind of folks jotas. |
The Castilian people has always sing while working and in the
parties. We want to contribute to mantain this songs. In our libreto
there are song wich are about the grape harving, or how the girls tried
to tie when they went to look water to the fountain, etc..
We take part in all kind of eucharistic celebrations, the solemnity and significance of any religious ceremony does not have to be scolded with the happiness and the feeling which the Castilian music induces
| But our speciality are "the WEDDINGS"
a wedding with music is much happier;
as it can be appreciated in the photograph
we give a royal welcome to the couple by
putting anches of flowers in the front door
of the church, giving an atmosphere
to the ceremony with the jotas, making the
offering with products of our land, and
dedicating a dance to the just-married.
