KNOW US BETTER

Everything began in 1983, when a group of friends decided to
get into one of the most beautiful traditions of our land: a dance
which is known by everybody as the "jota".

Our first objectives was quite simple and modest: just to gather
together some friends and with to have a common task. The name of the group, "BESANA" (which is the first furrow made in the land), shows all what we intended with it: we wanted to open new roads, to make new furrows
Quite Slowly. The jotas captivated us, and with them appeared in our hearts the love to this land and to the Castilian traditions; we discovered new songs and their dances which were reproduced respecting with all our love their origin and austerity.
