Tomato Chutney

        • Onions- 1 cup (chopped)
        • Tomato- 3/4 cup (chopped)
        • Garlic- 4 flakes
        • Red chilies- 5
        • Mustard seeds- 1/4 tsp
        • Bengal gram- 1/2 tsp
        • Salt
        • Oil

        Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and fry the 1st four ingredients for 5-10 minutes or until transparent and moisture is absorbed. Then add salt and grind it into a smooth paste.

        Heat 2 tsps of oil in the same pan and put mustard seeds. When it starts to pop add bengal gram, when it becomes brown add the ground paste and fry till the mixture becomes thick and changes its color.
