Mangalore Bonda

        • Maida- 1 cup
        • Rice flour- 1/4 cup
        • Rava- 2 tablespoons
        • Thick sour yoghurt- 3/4 cup
        • Chopped Spinach or (any other greens of your choice)- 1/2
        • cup
        • Chopped onions- 1/4 cup
        • Finely cut green chilies- 1 tablespoon
        • Chopped cilantro (coriander)
        • Curry leaves
        • Cooking soda- 1 pinch
        • Salt

        Mix all the ingredients together (except the greens and cooking soda) and keep this mixture closed for 6 hrs. Heat oil in a pan.

        Mix the chopped greens and the cooking soda to the above said mixture. Make lemon sized balls out of this mixture and deep fry few balls at a time, until golden brown. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
