Medhu Vadai

        • Urad dhal- 1 cup
        • Rice Flour- 2 tablespoons
        • Salt
        • Oil

        Soak dhal in water for 2 hrs. Drain water and grind it into a smooth paste without adding water. Add salt & rice flour and mix well. Make small balls out of this paste and keep it in a plastic sheet or a small plantain leaf and flatten it with wet hands. Make a hole in the center. Deep fry this in hot oil till both sides turns brown. Serve hot.
