Potato Bonda

          Batter:

        • Bengal gram flour- 1 cup
        • Rice flour- 1/4 cup
        • Red chili powder- 1 tsp
        • Cooking soda- 1 pinch
        • Salt

          Filling:

        • Potatoes- 2 cup (boiled & mashed)
        • Chopped onions- 1/2 cup
        • Finely chopped green chilies- 4
        • Chopped cilantro
        • Salt
        • Lime juice- 2 tablespoon

        Mix all the batter ingredients together with water and make into a thick smooth paste and set aside.

        Mix all the filling ingredients together. Make lemon sized balls out of this mixture and dip it in the batter.

        Heat oil in a pan and deep fry few balls at a time, until golden brown. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
