After we got our stuff into the room, we headed out and went exploring. We did a bit of shopping and jumped on a night tour. We had a beautiful sunset as you can see by some of the pictures. Tonight was one of the three or so nights that we at pizza. (The other nights consisted of Italian and Chinese. Go us) ;)
We completely crashed that night. Desperately trying to adjust ourselves. We roomed with three french students (two girls and a boy) and one girl living around London. The French boy was real nice and chatted a bit with us in English. (for the most part, they spoke in French...go figure, right? ;) and I was quite glad to be able to understand some of what they said. go me, eh?) :D
We arrived in London early morning (about 7am) and took the airbus to our hostel. It was a relatively nice place. :) We were both VERY jet-lagged, barely any sleep in us. And just our luck, the folks at the desk told us that we wouldn't be able to check in until 2pm. GREAT! So we completely crashed in their lounge. People were coming and going as we rested. I know I probably was able to get about 2 hours of sleep. Dunno how much Tiffany was able to get.
I was very excited about the room because in it was a Lord of the Rings postcard. Woohoo! Lord of the Rings is EVERYWHERE!!!! mwa hah!
