Midterm
Tours:
Excursions
have been great learning experience for schools. The basic
aim is to take students in outside world (from sheltered hostel
accommodation) and teach them lessons of self survival and self
learning. These trips expose the students to outdoor life; develop
co-operation and co-ordination; familiarize with tough life in
hinterlands of India; acquaint with wild and pristine beauty of
forests; interact with simple folks from rural life; marvel at
historical treasure of past; trek in alpine meadows and through
glaciers. Different types of schools prepare their own activities as
per their choice. STS also suggests different itineraries for
Institutions guidelines. The normal time for school tours are
March-April and September-October.
